Saskatchewan invites 39 entrepreneur candidates to apply
the CanadaVisa Team - 13 March, 2019
The province of Saskatchewan issued new invitations to immigrant entrepreneurs in a draw held March 7.
A total of 39 candidates were invited with scores ranging from a low of 120 to a high of 140 under the category's points assessment grid.
Saskatchewan's Entrepreneur Category is for eligible candidates who would like to establish, acquire or partner in an eligible business in the province.
Interested immigrant entrepreneurs must first submit an Expression of Interest to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).Ā
An EOI is a pre-application that screens interested candidates for eligibility and provides them with a ranking score based on the Entrepreneur Category'sĀ points assessment grid.Ā
The highest-scoring candidatesĀ are invited to apply for anĀ approval letter and those approvedĀ can then apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for aĀ Temporary Work Permit.
ThoseĀ who fulfill the terms of their Business Performance Agreement with the SINP for at least six months can then apply toĀ the SINP for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
